don't gimme words by Charlie Morganmy next feat is to write
poetry with no words;
they're so troublesome.
an ice age of disappointment
can be found in a can of words;
people fumble with them.
did he mean this? or that?
is he talking metaphorically?
or for real? do i believe him?
is she talking of women wiles?
or is she talking about flowers?
gimme an expression, no words.
words are good for hiding [in].
something is gossamer, [not filmy].
a sky is cerulean, [not blue]
and pellucid,[same old, same old.]
a twinkled eye walks away, sated.

Posted by A. Paige White on 08/26/09 at 02:23 PM Now that's my kind of title to a poem! And as usual the body of it doesn't disappoint either. Oh the sparks that fly when words collide... Somebody in Mississippi loves your sweet childlike spirit. And your words.
Posted by George Hoerner on 08/26/09 at 02:48 PM Great write Charlie. We throw words around as if we knew what they meant and we do. That's why we argue so much.

Posted by Kris Mara on 08/31/09 at 07:29 PM Bravo and amen...this says it perfectly...with words...words that only you could craft so precisely...to say what many of us have contemplated...I'm in love with this, that's all there is...
