did he know me by Charlie Morganhummingbirds whirr by, one lands on my finger.
he must have recognized my hand and arm.
we hadn't been introduced, yet; but, he came
to make my acquaintance, i obliged.
a Texan holding a Colorado hummingbird;
Neal Armstrong stepping on the Moon.
nearly the same; just different;
a slight nod to a Life unknown.

| Posted by Maude Curtis on 08/20/09 at 12:07 PM Hummingbirds are one of my favorite of Gods creatures. I've had them chirp at me while sitting on my clothesline and drink from the end of my water hose. I love to watch them. |
