Moon Willow Rendered by Alison McKenzieI love this road,
Freshly paved by
All the sojourners previous.
Finally I breathe,
Notice the fragrant blossoms -
Raspberries,
Blackberries,
Honeysuckle,
Sweet peas,
My senses delighted and caressed
By Universal nurture.
Here I encounter the lion
The fawn,
An eagle,
And a gecko,
Tamed by long years of destiny
In the freedom from Maya’s illusion.
I love this path,
Smooth boulders for resting,
Pure waters roaring
Earth’s veins exposed
Sustenance for the likes of
Me, the walkingsoul.
Moon Willow rendered,
Tamed by longing for home,
Peaceful now in gentle steps
Embrace of each moment’s birth
And weeping joy.
