The Little Boat of You and Me by Michele SchottelkorbDid you know, there IS a boat, of you and me.
Sailing on, the deep blue Sea.
And this boat, of you and me,
will never sink, or cease to be.
Too much love inside of thee,
inside the boat of you and me.
We are now one, two hearts you see,
forever more, just you and me.
Michele I love you, next to me,
being tossed, upon the knee,
hugs and kisses from me to thee 07/01/2009 Author's Note: My Husband sent this to me in an email today... I did not write this, but felt it should be put somewhere special...

Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 07/05/09 at 12:07 PM Michele, tell you husband that his poem has great rhythms going for it, particularly the first stanza and being you served as its model and inspiration and muse, it is not difficult to understand why this poem should possess such qualities as it does. |
