| Posted by Wayne Tate on 06/19/09 at 09:22 PM Very well done Clara! I love how you address humanities personal (yet frustrating) complexities with an ever so subtle "Does something so awe inspiring really need to be so contentious?". That is DEFINITELY not an easy task to convey! So deceptively simple and oh so profound! Pure genius! |
| Posted by Glenn Currier on 06/22/09 at 02:10 PM There is so much here. The richness in the "intercourse" lines - never thought about the interplay of ignorance and arrogance quite in this way. But what I especially like about your poem is the recognition that we all originate from and then return to stardust - a recognition of the connection of all. Beautiful poem, Clara. Thank you. |
