It's there in the black, and more in the white, the space between, the places where words won't fit. But it's there if they'd just seeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... plus, this is your MOST precious expression, and it sucks when it isn't acknowledged. The preciousness isn't lost on everyone out here, Chris, not by a long shot. |

| Posted by Wendy Geal on 03/31/14 at 05:29 PM Amazing. There are no better words, in my opinion, that express how a poet feels when someone gets frustrated that you don't show them the "real you". We see the details in everyone but very few take the time to examine the details in us. "look between the lines/ I say to you/if you really want to know who I am/but you don’t like to read babe/and that’s a mistake/cause all the answers are written in my poetry"
My favorite part. Exactly what I would say to my own muse. |
