"X" for Energy by Alison McKenzieI have “x” for energy
Life requires “y”
Sometimes the equation
is “x ≠ y”
No solution
And you, oh stranger,
Are the unknown, "z",
For which there is only
A negative value
I do not have z energy to date
AND
ALSO
I do have my own energy:
To care for myself,
To love my grandmother to wellness,
To hold my sister’s trembling hand,
To help my children graduate,
To get a 4.0 in college,
To write it all down
Until it feels like I can breathe again.
You grounded me,
Helped the equation make sense,
Even when it didn't balance, exactly.
Math is not my best subject.
Now, you = zero, or the addition thereof,
And I am FREE of your (dys)functions.
The world is my oyster!
AND
ALSO
I have no idea what that means.

Posted by James Zealy on 04/21/09 at 05:35 PM Okay now we are talking sytems of equations and where do they intersect (Now this is kinky).
2x+3y+4z=3
x-3y-4z=2
3x = 5 |
