My Angel by Maude CurtisYou're not very cute,
Some say you're even ugly.
But no one else can know
How you're so very snuggly.
You know when I am sad.
You know when I am sick.
If I need someone to cheer me up
You are the one I'd pick.
You run around in circles
and act like such a clown
and soon you've got me laughing
and I forget that I am down.
When we snuggle up at night
You know how to keep me warm,
We lay together all snug and safe
ignoring any storm.
So you may not be a winner
in some fancy dog show,
but you're my angel in a dog's body
This I'll always know.
