should have been a wild night

but you couldn't have told me that then
it sounded so alien even though
i recognized every word.
i don't remember what was said
and don't rightly give a damn.
it was late. i was sleeping.
they were screaming in circles.
i like to believe they kissed and made up
but it doesn't matter
i didn't hear the end.
if jesus came back and destroyed the world
just for fun
well i'd probably sleep through it. 11/20/2008 Author's Note:
