singing to the stars

by Melissa Arel

on occasion i find myself singing to the stars;
serenading the earth with this sweet alto voice,
looking to the heavens with such admiration
while the sky lays out before me - willing and beautiful

and i am amazed at the vastness of time and its elements,
how these sparkling specks can shimmer with such conviction..
the moon is my companion and the grass is my bed
as i lie in wonder watching the world breathe in and out

A lovely, very natural flow to this - inviting, and I like the way you look at the world.

The wonder and beauty of nature comes in many forms, appreciated in many ways, and sung about in beautiful verses such as this...

Brings wonder to the fore! A mighty creation by a mighty God. You've caught that sense of awe!

I had forgotten to comment here...and regret not doing so. I love this poem, the imagery, which you have always portrayed so vividly Mel...and do again, so clearly I can see it all.
