singing to the stars by Melissa Arel
on occasion i find myself singing to the stars;
serenading the earth with this sweet alto voice,
looking to the heavens with such admiration
while the sky lays out before me - willing and beautiful
and i am amazed at the vastness of time and its elements,
how these sparkling specks can shimmer with such conviction..
the moon is my companion and the grass is my bed
as i lie in wonder watching the world breathe in and out
