California Sunrise

This is your sunrise, John,
This is your day to crow!
This is the day of your birth
On this Earth;
The glow from your first peek
Is starting to show.
This is your moon rise, John,
Reflections of wishes to come.
Star twinkles vie
For that look in your eye
And a wave of your wand
That they'll be the first one.
This is your Act One, John,
Your curtain beginning to rise.
There's Mom and Dad
Center front, holding hands,
With the light from your sun
And your moon in their eyes.
