Stuck Poem

by Glenn Currier

This poem is stuck.

Where’s the roughage
to dislodge it
from two days of protein
computing, starchy talk
and greasy q and a’s?

Maybe a sip of Collins
a morsel of Ferlinghetti
and a half moon
on blue sky canvas
can help me find
it between the lines.

Author's Note: Ah! Thanks to Lawrence. That little morsel did it.

A poet's poem in my opinion. Light and bouncy despite its serious message. Glad I had a chance to read this. :o)
