Pastor by George HoernerHi, we live just behind your church
in those small cabins.
No, we really haven't attended.
Sorry, but I'm probably worse
than any atheist you've met.
Sure, I can talk for a minute
I was just going to get the mail.
You see I could not believe
in any GOD who is all knowing and all loving
and still see what I see in this world today.
I know we will all know
the answers someday,
but that isn't good enough.
Yes, I know there is this "belief"
but then that is the issue isn't it?
After all when it comes to belief
one can believe in white or black.
Isn't that true?
Ah yes, death.
Isn't that why man invented GOD?
If we lived forever
what need would there be for GOD or HEAVEN?
Creation?
I don't think anyone has the answers to that one.
But if it was GOD then who created GOD
Oh, I see.
He always was and will be.
Maybe I also shall be.

| Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 06/19/08 at 08:31 PM I enjoyed the conversational tone to this, the calm questioning to very profound issues, the open ending. Thank you. |
