Rising by Glenn CurrierAlmost crippled by its corpulence,
the boar lumbers headlong
into the dark gray waters
sinking slowly into the depths.
In her gleaming white gown
the maiden rises slowly
from her bed
and disappears in the distance.
Two knights swag
tired from their fight
swords sagging and fusing
their soft edges into the plain.
Halting these sweet moments
of lazy reverie
a plane streaks straight through
the blue donut hole in the clouds. 06/03/2008 Posted on 06/03/2008 Copyright © 2025 Glenn Currier
