a man on a mountain

by Charlie Morgan

i received a telegram from a Lama.
seems he'd heard of my grandson;
said my grandson could teach him
and would we make the journey?

knowing the Lama has many duties
yet stammered: two year old teacher.
teaching an ancient one, a guru.
i did my part, i escorted Kai.

upon the mountain he sat, await.
a gaze and a fresh breeze blew by,
as we traveled upward, winding.
a smile readied his instruction.

he only observed; often grinned,
often sat wide-eyed in wonder.
he had questions, maybe many.
he had only one, he queried.

how can this young man,
this servant of God
stay in the divine Moment?
i must know his secret.

Oh, isn't that the ONE question we'd all ask Kai if we could? I suspect it has something to do with how uncontaminated Kai remains in this world gone mad, and just a touch of grand-dad's aid in keeping it golden.

Beautiful Charlie! I'd love to make that trip but one must have the heart of a child to attend. Well done.

Oh gees, Charlie, I just LOVE this. What a wise man to know the sage of a child and its divine lesson! So so so cool, my friend.

i don't think it's a secret at all... just something we've all forgotten
