monks with guns

by Mary Frances Spencer

those monks
are at it again
heavily armed
with inner peace
harmony
non-violence

carrying the
artillery
of compassion
balancing the
loaded guns
of detachment from wordly material
with the
desire for freedom

when monks march
western apathy
takes a hike

I love it. To march in the face of it - my heroes. Well done - and pointing at us as you do.

Great title. I picture a Quentin Tarantino directed Grindhouse Film. With this title you could write a screenplay and sell the rights for millions!

Haha, good parallels drawn here. Well done, for I can think of no more formidable an army.
