wind electric

by Mary Frances Spencer

the wind
electric
stirs it all up
mixing dust leaves
urban grit
a whirling dervish
spinning it's trance
then dropping those palm
fronds
in the
street
like
fallen hands
open
and clean.

Author's Note: I wrote this awhile ago. I like the wind energy... MFS

Wonderful in shape and expression...I love the graceful way the palm fronds appear "like fallen hands"-- a beautiful open ending!

I do, too. I love how you put this thing together.

This is full of energy and what it, the wind, creates. Nicely done.
