Posted by Jean Mollett on 09/06/07 at 05:29 PM Hi Geneveive,
Great write. I know the feeling. I do love it, when I can have quiet moments, specially by myself. |
Posted by Melissa Arel on 09/07/07 at 12:51 AM nice. |
Posted by Sigurdur Haraldsson on 09/07/07 at 10:13 AM Fantastic. I really like the tornado effect and how you manage to convey the still calm of the eye of the storm (with eye-contact). Just brilliant. |
Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 09/18/07 at 01:58 PM Excellent especially in that the title embodies and raises the power of the whole, giving it layers and a deep quiet emotional core. |
Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 09/18/07 at 02:04 PM I like that this was written on my birthday! So I can take it personally...smile! |
Posted by Michelle Angelini on 10/07/07 at 02:48 PM CONGRATULATIONS on POTD! I can sure relate to this one, only the eyes I look (on earth) into understand me in non-human ways. The eyes I look into above, always have me in their sight. The words used are specific enough to apply to (you?), the narrator, but general enough to be interpreted by others, as I have, in their own way.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 10/07/07 at 03:15 PM Inspiring POTD. These moments keep us connected. |
Posted by George Hoerner on 10/07/07 at 03:29 PM Congratulations on POTD! Well deserved. The poem says so much with relatively few words. |
Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 10/07/07 at 04:43 PM It's shaped like a little tornado swirling storm I think, and chaos it could make --but the still centering of "eye to eye" is the core of balance . A poem of the day to inspire and draw us heart to heart. |
Posted by Ken Harnisch on 10/10/07 at 03:36 AM Here's to the wonderfulness of that sight! |
Posted by Tony Whitaker on 10/10/07 at 09:04 AM Form and philosophic perfection. I agree with Don. This is one of those pieces that speaks to the mind and the eyes! |
Posted by Sandy M. Humphrey on 10/10/07 at 07:49 PM I know the eye of the storm is calming and this is so clear where you find your peace..nicely done. smh |
Posted by Don Matley on 10/11/07 at 05:18 PM VERY NICE...NICE FLOW...YOU CANNOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE AS IT ALMOST BRINGS YOU TO THE ARMS OF THE OTHER SIGNIFICANT |
Posted by Joan Serratelli on 03/04/09 at 04:42 PM You have captured so well, a moment in time that is precious. You said a whole lot in very few words. Good work |
Posted by Carl Walker on 05/30/11 at 01:46 AM it drew me in, leading me with familiar emotions, and left me with a kiss, I liked it very much |
