encapsulated harmony by Kyle Anne Kisha lonely reign
will not sustain
the places
we have dusted our pain
just burst right
in and cover your
ears with doubts
then gobble up your fears
once, twice, thrice
i was told to heal
the sick and care
for the old
by golly the bus
came by again
to take root
of my route
i shall not follow
... simply cross heirs
with wires and frrrrump
there goes the world
thick of skin
and back once more
waiting, always waiting,
at my door 07/25/2007 Posted on 07/26/2007 Copyright © 2025 Kyle Anne Kish

Posted by Elizabeth Jill on 07/29/07 at 02:26 PM Og! that "cross heirs" picks me up and spins me around. I'm a drooling fan of your hair-pin swerves and turns-of-phrase. Add your salt dashings of sadness and realities, and zoom! I'm inside your poem. ;/ |
