In The Night

by Kate Demeree

She hung, slivered
Above the shadowed hill,
Upon black velvet draperies,
Nestled amid twinkling dancers

I shameless voyeur
Reveled in her beauty
Hushed and still
Her grace
A forever memory

Really quite breath taking. You have captured the mystery, beauty, and magnetic alure of this slivered glow.

beautiful, indeed is this scene, captured not for a time but for always. you have captured the soul dancing in its niche to the tune of an internal fife. Kate, this poem is as beautiful and soulful as thee.
