In The Night by Kate Demeree
She hung, slivered
Above the shadowed hill,
Upon black velvet draperies,
Nestled amid twinkling dancers
I shameless voyeur
Reveled in her beauty
Hushed and still
Her grace

Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 06/02/07 at 12:11 PM beautiful, indeed is this scene, captured not for a time but for always. you have captured the soul dancing in its niche to the tune of an internal fife. Kate, this poem is as beautiful and soulful as thee. |
