A Crystal Glade

by Roger J Kenyon

A crystal glade with thin
branch shadows.
Reaching over edges glistening
Where diamonds by clouds
sent, glimmer from sun.
Through portals in a random windy
array of splendor.
To a dazzling tiara, before being
buffed by a caring, cloth of
darkness until dawn.

Author's Note: I came across this scene on a forest walk. It jumped out at me.

I'm not sure how to describe this little gem in the rough but I like how it communes with nature and sparkles on its own. Congratulations on becoming The Poet of the Day!

Roger, splendid ... yes. You've taken a part of nature through its natural process and used your shining eyes to describe the whole thing. Wonderful imagery here. Congratulations on your POTD. Well deserved.

The magnificence of nature wonderfully mirrored yet uniquely captured.
