A Crystal Glade by Roger J Kenyon
A crystal glade with thin
branch shadows.
Reaching over edges glistening
Where diamonds by clouds
sent, glimmer from sun.
Through portals in a random windy
array of splendor.
To a dazzling tiara, before being
buffed by a caring, cloth of
darkness until dawn.

Author's Note: I came across this scene on a forest walk. It jumped out at me.

Posted by JD Clay on 03/28/07 at 01:52 PM I'm not sure how to describe this little gem in the rough but I like how it communes with nature and sparkles on its own.
Congratulations on becoming The Poet of the Day! |
Posted by Kyle Anne Kish on 03/28/07 at 08:13 PM Roger, splendid ... yes. You've taken a part of nature through its natural process and used your shining eyes to describe the whole thing. Wonderful imagery here. Congratulations on your POTD. Well deserved. |
