Posted by A. Paige White on 02/16/07 at 02:10 AM Like Lori, lol, again, radical love agnostic is awesome wording. It resonates had to read it several more times to savour it. Great stuff. But, what is IED? |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 02/16/07 at 05:08 AM Yikes - explosive, man!! |
Posted by Sarah Graves on 02/18/07 at 05:21 AM I really enjoyed reading this. The title really drew me in (name of one of my fav bands). You start with a feeling of dynamic love.. then to the true reality, of how a similar feeling can leave someone in the ashes. |
Posted by Laurie Blum on 02/18/07 at 04:48 PM "radical love agnostic" that is a great line. |
Posted by Michelle Angelini on 02/19/07 at 04:14 AM Great poem. And I think the IEDS are some kind of explosive device, like Inter (or Intra) Explosive Devices - yeah, blowing up the heart - that's the "love and debris" from someone who believes in love but not the power of it - "agnostic." Totally cool, Soulo. I've run into a few of them before.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 02/19/07 at 07:44 PM Excellent expression and application of modern military concepts on the battlefield of romance. A suggestion if I may, change the second 'love' to 'apathy,' and drop the third 'love' and see what you think. There's greater strength in non-repetition especially in short pieces such as this. :o) |
