When Christmas Finds You

by Sandy M. Humphrey

Perhaps Christmas will find you in a busy shopping mall
Checking off your list buying gifts for all
When in the hustle and that bustle you spy the perfect toy
To purchase and donate for a special girl or boy

Maybe Christmas will find you as choirs are gathering
To sing of a night long ago and the birth of a newborn king
A birth foretold to shepherds watching their flocks at night
Guided to the miracle by Heaven’s own bright light

Perhaps it is the first snowfall, the glow of candlelight
The smell of cookies baking, the still and quite of night
Just recognize it when it happens, experience all the joy
For a moment let yourself be that little girl or little boy

Who still believes in Santa and that reindeer can really fly
Embrace the magic of the moment and never question why
Carry Peace and hope with you in your heart keep it near
Wherever and Whenever Christmas finds you this year

Hi Sanday and thank you. Anyone who does not have Christmas in their heart will never find it under a tree or anywhere else! Merry Christmas.
