PUMICE by Kristina WoodhillPorcelain sinks lend smooth sides to
Unencumbered drainage, that easy exit sought by
Man sloughing off unwanted skins or tightening masks that
Insist on extra thought, careful logic, those cooperative
Characteristics hard found among the shifting volcanics of this
Earthly humanscape, and therein lies the rub
12/13/2006 Author's Note: odd thoughts that come when cleaning mineral deposits in the loo

| Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 12/13/06 at 07:36 PM Love the flow here, Kristina. A continuous thought that offers many images and seems to meet itself in the end. Well done. Thanks. |
| Posted by Michelle Angelini on 12/16/06 at 07:35 PM Yes, I've had some thoughts come to me while in the loo...bathtub thoughts are my favorite. The warm water just has the right atmosphere for creative thinking. I love this and it's simple message.
