Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 12/15/06 at 01:03 PM Marvelous poem about the marvelous creatures we imagine to habit our refrigerators. And speaking of strange and misunderstood creatures, I believe ( lest it was my imagination, ) I observed a ham once, or was it a dunce in my refrigerator, cooked to perfection; but when I gave an acuter look, I noticed it was merely my reflection. |
Posted by Angela Nuzzo on 01/11/07 at 09:16 AM Dave, this is wonderful! I love children's poetry and this is one of the best I've read. I agree with Jennifer - I was seeing this as a book with every new animal your narrator introduced. Great job! |
