Personal Daylight Saving Plan

IÂ’ve saved
these daylight
hours
for months and
now you really
think
with one
small
stroke
of
two a.m.
youÂ’ll
pour them
down
time'Â’s
sink!
IÂ’ve got
news!
IÂ’ve penned
them in!
those days
IÂ’ve saved-
my scheduleÂ’s
full and
packed
of re-days
I plan to re-live,
of paths
IÂ’ve mapped
to track
IÂ’ve got
A whoooole
bag
of sand
saved
and
my hour glass
is gonna
flow
in my own time
at my own pace
nice and sweet
and slow!
So please
go diddle
someone
else'Â’s time
zone
if
you must
please move
on forward
to your end
enjoy your
pile of dust
IÂ’ve planned
a way to
spend my time
to make my
savings last
right now
my future looks
real sweet
as do
days
from my
past
