Friday the 13th by Kristina WoodhillSensible shoes could help you side step those
Unexpected cracks, although if you fall
Purgatory is an option, I mean, letÂ’s face it
Expectations appear at all rungs of the ladder and
Realizing you control the height could just upset some
Status quo pre-numbered thought and send you
Tumbling into the realm of nonprofit sanity
Imagine stepping off that finger-crossed woven
Tight rope youÂ’ve knotted into a safe house
Inventing your own number game could change your shoes entirely, although
Originality doesnÂ’t mean you have to dunk without a guard
No net, baby, no net

| Posted by Leslie Ann Eisenberg on 10/14/06 at 08:40 PM very clever form, and even better, it flows naturally throughout. fave lines -- Expectations appear at all rungs of the ladder, finger-crossed woven
Tight rope, Inventing your own number game could change your shoes entirely...no net? if only! tell that to people with OCD! maybe this could be a new mantra, a ray of hope! my grandmother was superstitious, and i remember her safeguards against the evil eye! an entertaining write, thanks! PK |

Tight rope you’ve knotted into a safe house" gave me a mental picture of pinkie crossing ring finger, pointer crossing birdie and both arms crossed in a big X... "No net, baby, no net" is very inspiring... smooth flow... A real pleasure to read.
