A Tint of 2

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

In shades of love
we've never known
hues of love
our hearts have grown

hot shades of red
cool shades of blue
passionate purples
melancholy maroon
honest white
dark doubt black
all these hues
our eyes did lack

such shades of light
we never knew
imbue our world
a tint of 2

I really like the "melancholy maroon" and the "dark doubt black". The "tint of 2" has a classic, simple alliterative almost chiming of a small bell feel to it. Nice.

Simply beautiful in all its colors. Congrats on POTD!
