Almost a Haiku!

by A. Paige White

Don’t want no mansion
Just an angel’s chariot
Riding eternally.

Author's Note: Well, this will get low scores for sure. I couldn't get it right.
WHAT is eating my apostrophes?!?

I like it, eternal life isn't so much to ask for... try forever ;)

I like it too for its expression of desire for the heavenly/eternal as opposed to the earth bound materialistic. Besides I'm sure there's a mansion waiting for us all up there, sans the tedious housework. And yes it is almost a haiku if one is counting syllables, but certainly has that haiku impact, and thus makes it one in my books. Kudos!

Sort of like 'Easy Rider'. I like the way it reads and sounds. Congrats!

lovely poem. not a bad thing to desire, an angel's chariot to stroll skies the day through and the evening too.
