Concealing Reveals

by Rula Shin

Just as the sun
In hiding its face from some
Reveals it to others

So in hiding we project
Reflecting all that is hidden
Our eyes protruding beneath
The masks we don

The wise insists he's no fool
Concealing persistently
Revealing his foolishness

"in hiding we project" ... such a truth about how we see ourselves and how we think others see us.

Hi Rula. Yes, every revelation conceals and every concealing reveals. Wonderful write. Thanks.

How revealing this concealing truly is...what a deep hole you dig with this.

Aptly captures how we all are two faced, and I mean that in a nice way; sometimes the fool, other times a savant. Great to read you again Rula. :o)

‘……..in hiding we project’, in fact, the projection it self is revelation of some thing being concealed. ‘I will kill you’ is an expression of fear. And all mediocre prove them fools by projecting their genius. Dwarfs use stilts to raise their height. And so we all project a personality hiding our essence. And the essence reflects in what is being projected.
