I have here in my hand
A bucket of slugs.
Cos they are so lovely to eat.
I'm not keen on crickets
Or eight legged bugs
Or creatures with too many feet.
I like all of my food
The texture of goo,
Worm omelette is great for a lunch.
Don't offer me locusts
Or cockeroach stew,
Or owt that has too much to crunch.
Author's Note: Let's say that cockroach has 3 sylllables shall we? :) and owt is short for anything.

LOL! Gross but well worded reminder of one scene in the latest Willy Wonka movie, starring Johnnie Depp. Excellent Dave! Think I'll stick however to the occasional bug I unknowingly swallow in my sleep. :o)
