In search of passion by Joy SyFor once in my life
I wish to find passion
To live it, to breathe it
To revel in it
To burn with such energy
To immerse in its power
To neither fear nor hesitate
Unhindered by convention or faith
Tis is a dream
Kept hidden and banked
Freed only at midnight
Secreted away
Unseen by light
A dream that keeps my sanity tethered and whole
A dream I protect with all my soul
For I know, deep within my consciousness
When it dies, so shall I
