Cosmic Healing

by Karl Waldbauer

I hold your head
kiss your unwilling lips,
they soften and yield
You start to speak so I press myself closer,
feeling the struggle you carry buried so deep
you can’t grab it,
or allow the sun to illuminate,
let affection soothe the hurt

Don’t speak your mind,
it lies to you
brilliant but useless
Listen to your heart, the beat of life,
a gift needing no thought
demanding no understanding

Ask no questions for I have no answers
only knowledge we are of the Universe
have always made love
with our every action

Karl - this is just incredible. It made me shiver as I read it. Result.

This is so beautiful! Can't say much more that that. I LOVED ALL OF IT!

a lovely poem of the heart, it is amazing how the cosmos can heal...the flow of this piece seems to mimic the movement of the topic...well done!...a suggestion to consider, if it is not too intrusive: I'm not sure you need the last line...just throwing it out there...all the best to you, *jewels*

Your words have the gentle touch that only love shown in true friendship exhibits. An understanding that looks past obstacles to all the possibilities of life.

Fascinating and captivating update to the "soul mates" concept.

beautiful words and equally beautiful senyiment. Sometimes you just need someone to hold you and love you even in the minute
