Ecstasy of Drowning

by Max Bouillet

When we kiss,
our tongues melt
and drip
from the corners
of our mouths.

We are wet breath
on moist flesh
and rain on each
other until we become
a storm.

The world floods
and we float naked
before the universe
unaware of anything
but the ecstasy
of drowning in each
other’s arms.

A lot of moisture here - well, sodden really :) I imagine I recognise that it's the credible capture of aftermath, drained of tension and free of matter - at least that which doesn't...

This is one helluva sexy poem, Max. Most effective use of language and erotic imagery.

Maria Howard's phobia of drowning now cured. One hell of a treatment you offer Max!

With a click you've described another language for expressing the most delicious experience. Mmmm.
