at the easel
waiting for
this April rain day's
darkness to lift
I stroke sunlight into
my landscape

This is a beautiful minimal depicting within onto without then letting without influence within.

Hi Maureen. To me this exemplifies what we should do for each other, even on the brightest days. Enjoyed this.

Brilliant use of key strokes to paint a colourful and vivid picture. Emily Carr's in good company with this masterpiece. Olé!!!

I have always marvel how a painter can create subtle sunlight on canvas. You have done it in my mind with words.

This is a beautifully captured scene, of painting within a painting, all the dimensions so full of LIFE. Wonderful piece :-)

"Here comes the sun!" A lovely warmth flowing from a lovely poem and poet!
