You Thrill My Quill (IV.)

by Soulo Jacob Bourgeau

Twelve step program failed
Five seven five fills my quill
Euphoric ink high

02/03/2006

Author's Note: This is part IV of an ongoing collab with Melissa Kosswig on addiction to haiku. I'm still stuck in the 'denial' stage...

All I got to say is WOW!...okay I lied, I'm gonna say more. Very Marqui de Sade...I admire your ability to evoke such a personal response within a relatively non-emotional person such as myself. This work is well driven in that I wouldn't mind, okay I lied again, I would love to see a more explicit extended version of this poem. Perhaps we can combine our experiences to create something worthy of such a source. Great job...thanks

mmm, I like this a lot! Of course, I admit to haiku envy - not a form I have quite figured out - practice, practice, practice....
