Moments of Serenity

Oh my sweet little piece of heaven
My heart yearns when I must turn and go away
A grandpas time is far too short
I found my heart again when you were born
Peace and joy were visited upon my soul with your smile
Holding you I find safe harbor
Oh my little baby girl
I think of you with every passing moment
I bathe in love throughout my day
Tears well in my eyes when I imagine your face
And all is made well again in those moments of Serenity
Embracing you I find understanding
