On the Edge, Determined - III

by Rula Shin

I am back on the edge
Intending to UNDO
Destiny's design
Indifferently as happenings

Today I am remembering better
As my new found approach to life
Has changed my attitude
My perspective, for the better

I purge all negative thoughts
With attention intact, my focus
Promoting a feeling of peace and happiness
Satisfying my basic instinct for meaning

Each moment of intention
Is a battle for LIFE
Each moment of BEING
An eternity of LIVING
Wake me from my deep slumber

Yes, progression is my WIN
The resulting inevitable by product
Happiness on this evolutionary path
That hangs upon the threshold

Thus, I wake myself from my deep slumber!!!
On the edge, determinedÂ…

What fresh introspection. It's nice to see that not everyone is embroiled in the same old topics.

Back on the edge, yes, right in the battlefield where one is, face to face, fighting a 'battle for LIFE'. UnDOING the process of death, which keeps on happening in the garbs of life. "Each moment of intention Is a battle for LIFE Each moment of BEING An eternity of LIVING Wake me from my deep slumber" These lines are inspiring with so much insight. Intentional living, from moment to moment, as against 'Destiny's design' is a battle in it self. And when one dies from moment to moment as one LIVES from moment to moment, one LIVES in eternity. 'I purge all negative thoughts With attention intact….' Yes, Attention is the KEY to the locks which keeps the doors of perception locked. Can one think of AWRENESS without riding on the back of ATTENTION? And the end result is a WIN, the attainment of the intended goal, the by product being peace and happiness. I am happy that despite the onslaught of the external you are moving ahead determined and conscious of your every move, battling, on the edge, face to face like an impeccable warrior. Hats off!!! !!!

I am not surprised to see Ashok's comment... the two of you are very enlightened. It is always a pleasure to read you!

I have always said, you better not pout, you better watch out, if Rula ever becomes determined you'd be chasing the wind, but would fail to make headway, being too slow a poke or not affording the gas should you decide to try to catch up with your car.

What a great message-- it seems as though all great classical minds would agree
