Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 07/26/05 at 02:48 AM Intriguing expression of cause and effect. I must disagree on the premise that there is no good or evil. Perhaps that can be said of the natural world but not of the human world and its relation to God, the Creator. As usual, thought provoking. |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 07/27/05 at 02:17 PM Although I don't agree with the first two lines, there's plenty of clean cut logic and wisdom throughout the rest. Superbly stated Ashok. |
Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 07/28/05 at 01:21 PM it seems to me there is only one certainty; that this whirling dervish and curious nature of ours will spin our wheels into a froth of philosophy and all the while we indulge from its futile cup it is opening our eyes to mystery ( and here is the rub ) only to conceal and seal them again in greater mysteries. |
Posted by Graeme Fielden on 07/28/05 at 03:41 PM this is indeed a philosophically challenging piece, Ashok. The question that I pondered after reading it...If you replaced the word "Nature", with the word, "God" in the 3rd line - would you reach the same conclusion? Nice work :) |
