IV. Rise of the Butterfly

by Rula Shin

Intending visions waltz before heavy eyes
Beings permeating from within to within
Bodies sensing the descent of every breath
The world stops in timelessness

Mystical smear of sweet elixirs
Drip from tongues retracted as
We dance intertwined towards
The horizon's parting lips

Wings and souls extend to bind
One Essence beyond boundaries
Seeking no answers as ascending
Butterfly BECOMES freedom

So rises our radiant Being
Within turning, without returning
Willing the way of our destiny
Defying nature's gravitational pull

'Intending visions'…. Nothing left to chance, this state of oneness is attained through hard work, sensing every fraction in continuity, missing nothing, 'Bodies sensing the descent of every breath'. There is no without, no within, WHAT IS is IS. Space merged into time. 'The world stops in timelessness' Radiating with the beauty of oneness, rises the 'radiant being', transcending all boundaries, becoming FREEDOM. Where are the questions? The questions arises in the state of duality. Where is the duality when there isn't any without nor there is any within. There's just FREEDOM, 'we dance interwined towards infinity in timelessness'. Towards freedom 'defying natures gravitational pull'. This just can't have been worded without having this mystical experience of oneness, where in, you feel merged with the without as you see the without within. Yes, I am wondering. This is what is known as mystic experience and this simply cant be articulated intellectually as it cant be understood intellectually, it just can't be felt, it has to be SENSED through body. And you seem to have experienced this which you have depicted herein with this drawing, giving the whole 'scene'a visual effect. This is beautiful Rula Shin.

The colorful, catchy drawing is a poem unto itself, aptly reflected by the text beneath. Thanks once again Rula for sharing so much of yourself.

The drawing invites the senses to feast on the the words that follow. Then as I read the poem the image kept flying in and out of my mind's eye. The sensual is made transcendent in the rising fluidwords you artfully weave and thrust out to the rest of us.
