A TIGERRAMA ILLUSTRATED

by Charles E Minshall

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

There are tigers in our bedroom
Beneath the covers of our bed,
Last night I heard one purring
And it wasn't in my head.

I told my wife " LOOK OUT!
Tigers often run in pairs."
She jumped up screaming
And ran right down the stairs.

It's now mid afternoon
And I haven't seen her yet,
Those purring bedroom tigers
Are not her kind of pet.

I have wondered what it must be like being married to such a wit as you. This poem gets me a little closer to knowing. Clever delight, Chaz.

Mary Ellen's artistic addition is a hoot! - I can remember the old 'Put a Tiger in Your Tank!' advertising from the 'good ol' days,' but you've taken that idea and pumped a few hormones into it...bravo! - From one cat to another! - RCat-in-your-tank

Charlie, this is a real hoot, especially the collab illustration with Mary Ellen Smith. So cute! I got a good laugh from it.

Cute rhyme sir, full of Dr. Seusian innocense, and great accompanying drawing to add icing to the cake.

This is an excellent poem full of fun. Grab that tiger by the tail and listen to 'em wail. Great read.
