Posted by Michelle Angelini on 05/11/05 at 07:45 AM Excellent and so true. I'll drink to that, too, but probably with a 10-day old bottle of Martinelli's Sparkling Grape Juice. ;-)

Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 05/14/05 at 12:20 PM Ah, Chris, you pluck the heartstrings of alone and alone and alone we will e'er be, and in that appraisal there is ne'er glee but it is truth and so we continue to strum up mirages of companies, battlements of friends that never arrive around the bend, but mirages lend themselves to illusion of friends but aloness mere and wonderful, clear and unadulterated notion of alone plays us for keeps. alone we may be but we will keep company with this poem for a bit as we sit before the computer and weep. |
