a man named Hereafter(limerick)

by Charlie Morgan

a man who was named Hereafter
was troubled by what was the matter.
when up walked Joe
interrupted as though
Hereafter knew what he was here after.

main characters are given names for just this reason...they give background information that gives resolution to the conflict...a witty limerick cHAz...~JPP

Oh me oh my, I read this several times while watching a bird perch on my windowsill. Now I know Hereafter is ever after me, even when my windows are closed. Thanks for a great read. :)

Artie Johnson to Ruth Bussey on 'Laugh In' (showing my age here!)... 'Do you beleive in the hereafter?' asks Artie's old lecherous character...the dubious old maid answers reluctantly, 'Yes'... to which he growls laughinly, 'Then you know what I'm here after!' ...that line always cracks me up - You've brought it all back to me Chaz, touche! - RCatski

LOL! Especially delicious knowing this josephus interruptus. Enjoyed the limie, Chaz.
