one thirty a.m. by Glenn Currierclick click click
one sixtieth at a time
tiny thuds
against the numb
sinewy strait
between my skull and shoulders
sweet adieu the skirmishes
of this day
still lingering
in my gray synapses
cease the tapping
on these keys
turn your senses
into senseless slumber
and abracadabra dreams 10/29/2004 Author's Note: I was determined to write a poem yesterday but it didn't make it here until today. Just a little greeting to you, my friends, whom I have sorely missed these past few months.
