Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 06/16/04 at 11:53 AM I agree wholeheartedly and add to that soul in total assention, that it takes two to create and ne'er one, for that would be poetry created in a vacuum, for the selfish to hear over and over and poetry as love unshared is better left in the pen or on the drawing board. |
Posted by Alison McKenzie on 06/16/04 at 01:52 PM Great reminder that words carry a strong creational vibration, and I believe, as you suggest, that it can and does affect us on our very DNA. I love the concept throughout, Rula! I also love the hope portrayed here. |
Posted by Ashok Sharda on 06/18/04 at 03:05 PM This poem emerges and develops on a layer, uncommon, where in, the ‘interacting souls’ becomes one in the ‘magnetic field of’ an understanding, which is ‘a potential unifying force’.
The impression, in the form of idea’s are transmitted ‘me to you, you to me’. Its here the poet provides this beautiful piece yet another dimension and turns it into a reflection of genetics of poetry.
The words turn into genes, lines into DNA codes, stanza’s into chromosomes carrying the blue print of the developing ideas. And not unlike genetics of procreation, the words, the lines, the stanza’s, inter mingles, shuffles, cross sides and eventually elect’ this or that’.
As a result of this genetic intermingling ‘Exquisite colors form as our
Expressions intermix,
New features take shape’ and in the process a complete cell is formed. A unique body of a poem is formed with an inherent essence. “Our poem is conceived’.
Basically, the expansion of any impression, as a rule, in the form of an idea contracts into the basic building unit in any creation, the chromosomes carrying the DNA codes, the ‘blue print’.
The analogy, the simile of the words with the genes, line with the DNA codes and stanza’s with the chromosomes is so appropriate that both the process of creation intermingles nicely and its here the poem takes an erotic dimension, elucidating the genetics of creation whether it’s a creative poem or human cell, when conceived and developed in any human interaction in the’ magnetic field of the bubble chamber’. The bubble chamber is the ‘magnetic field’ of understanding, a unifying force, which keeps the attention intact and intensified, approach positive and objective, wherein, every moving thought, every moving impression, every appearing idea (like a particle in a bubble chamber) is potential for a procreative creative process. This is a beautiful piece. Full marks to you.
