A triolet

by Maureen Glaude

over a cup of herbal tea
I tackle a triolet, for fun
perhaps it will come easily

over a cup of herbal tea
I map out rhyme schemes, A and B
and the lines to be repeating ones

over a cup of herbal tea
I tackle a triolet, for fun

And like a cup of tea (once it's cooled off a bit) a smooth easy read. I've hear the term triolet, but it's nice to finally see what one looks like.

wonderful, simply wonderful Maureen and the rhyming scheme I love, specifically in that I've never seen tea rhymed with B. and uniquely so.

This troilet - great fun! Enjoyed the "tea".

Poems about poetry are always interesting. This one is happily simple. It's going to niggle now though. Tell me, WHICH herbal tea???

The only thing missing from this fine piece are the crumpets. Very herbal, Mo! Pe4ce...
