Away by Glenn Currier
Away
When I am away from you too long
distant dry winds
sweep across me,
hardening my skin
until it begins to flake and itch.
The moisture of your penetrating touch
eludes me,
I am caught in the cage
of nine to five.
Inside the house of responsibility
the softness
of your gentle rain
cannot nurture my roots.
Sometimes I notice.
I miss you, my loves.

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 02/18/04 at 04:03 AM 'caught in the cage of nine to five.' This is understandable. This is a world inside a world subject to the world it is inside.Whats beautiful here is the feelings, I can so easily identify with.
