we fall like love by Michele Schottelkorbunder a mystickal moon
we fall like love
somber dancing
gentle hand brushing
into the twilight
of the minds eye
cover me in kisses
from a soul searching gaze
(red wine and white roses)
blushed cheeks painted burgundy
glisten like dewdrops
upon Natures breath
sing to me with the voice
of a thousand angels
(in silence)
the lake of Life is calling
to embrace the bloodfilled heart
that pumps sustenance
into our gentle beings
deep within our yesteryears
a seed flowered passion
two bodies are one
in this myriad of dreams
sleep now,
on the bosom of matrimony peaceful for all eternity02/09/2004 Posted on 02/09/2004 Copyright © 2025 Michele Schottelkorb

| Posted by Susan Q Tomas on 02/14/04 at 04:42 PM The lines "the lake of Life is calling
to embrace the bloodfilled heart
that pumps sustenance
into our gentle beings" could be interpreted several ways. I interpret it sexually. Water makes me think of making love. I wonder what you intended it to mean. This is very romantic.
