glittertruth by Michele Schottelkorb
speak softly now
the time has come
to ponder many things
listen close
the end is near
to honor sacred rings
upon a wave
the glittertruth
has reared it's pretty head
into the orb
of gracious life
to fate you have been wed
whisper, dear one
in the dark
my heart beats one with yours
rest your eyes
commence the spark
we're opening our doors...

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 01/22/04 at 02:13 PM Sounds as if one is at the cross roads. Sounds like a challange, one is bound to accept and live upto. Sounds like a soul seeking hand of a fellow traveller on a journey on this pathless path. |

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 04/25/04 at 10:55 PM This an excellent statement of committment, that would make a fabulous opening to a novel. One minor quibble if I may: I'd change this line: to honor sacred rings to: to honor unsacred rings as it seems to contradict the trust and faith of the rest of the poem. |
Posted by Wendy Geal on 05/24/04 at 10:00 PM i love the title, the poem flows beautifully from beginning to end. |
Posted by Alison McKenzie on 07/01/04 at 02:34 PM I love the form, Michele, and the contrast between what seems to be hope and what seems to be reality realized. |
