Fat Cat by Charles E Minshall
In a chair where I sat I watched a fat cat, Lying on a mat In a sunbeam stretched flat, And thought to myself I should do that. Lying on a mat In a sunbeam stretched flat, Alongside one purring cat, A-h-h-h-h that's where it's at.

| Posted by Maureen Glaude on 01/03/04 at 12:58 AM how often I think they (our pets) show us what we really need to do - basically, slow down, luxuriate a bit, in the simple pleasures. It's why yoga often mimics animals. Well done. |

| Posted by Kate Demeree on 04/04/04 at 05:00 AM Toooo Cute.... and I wonder... if on that mat beside the fat purring cat, if there would be room, If one could assume.... that the sun would shine and warm them through if they should stop for a moment to say hello to you, and the fat purrrrrrring cat ... *grin*.... |
